The North East Lincolnshire Care Association (NELCA) is a newly established organisation dedicated to representing care providers across the North East Lincolnshire region. With a mission to be the voice of the local care industry, NELCA aims to support and enhance the future of care services in the area.
NELCA is the latest organisation to sign up to the North East Lincolnshire Health and Care Partnership (NELHCP) People and Skills Pledge. This pledge is an initiative designed to support Health and Social Care partners in attracting, recruiting, and retaining staff. The collaboration between NELCA and NELHCP People and Skills Pledge is expected to be mutually beneficial, leveraging the strengths of both to address workforce challenges in the care sector.
By joining the People and Skills Pledge, NELCA will have access to resources and support to attract new talent to the care industry. The partnership will provide NELCA members with tools and strategies to streamline recruitment processes, making it easier for care providers to find and hire qualified staff. Care providers will also have access to development opportunities for their staff, as well as employee wellness initiatives, helping to maintain a stable and satisfied workforce.
Sue Hamilton, Co-Chair of NELCA, expressed her enthusiasm about the partnership, stated:
