People and Skills Pledge represents a new initiative that unites Health and Social Care businesses with a shared goal of recruiting a workforce that embodies the necessary values and behaviors sought by the industry. Supporting workforce retention needed for the ageing Health and Social Care workforce, as well as guiding businesses towards provision and workplace well-being initiatives, the People and Skills Pledge presents a genuine opportunity for local employment and enables businesses in the region to enhance their competitiveness, resilience, and readiness for economic changes with the support of a vibrant, multi-skilled workforce.
The People and Skills Pledge also works closely with the Employability Services to help North East Lincolnshire community find sustainable employment.
