Mission

The North East Lincolnshire HCP ‘People and Skills Pledge’ aims to provide a single point of contact for Health and Social Care employers, connecting them with education, employment, and training providers. Employers will discover opportunities for workforce growth, upskilling, and retention through work-based training and employment initiatives.

The ‘People and Skills Pledge’ invites Health and Social Care employers to engage in a range of activities designed to raise awareness about the various roles and careers available within the sector. Employers will have a voice in identifying the essential skills required to bolster our local economy, retain a skilled workforce, and enhance the skills of entry-level roles across the Health and Social Care sector. This, in turn, will lead to the growth and prosperity of supply chain roles that support our industry.

With the aim of bridging the skills gap and fostering collaboration between Health Care Partnership organisations, education institutions, employers, training providers, and the DWP, this initiative will ensure widespread dissemination of up-to-date information on skills and training.

Overall, the ‘People and Skills Pledge’ seeks to create a dynamic ecosystem that empowers Health and Social Care employers to thrive while also nurturing a skilled and capable workforce. Through joint efforts, we will fortify the sector and secure a prosperous future for our community.
